Gray is a very popular color right now. Dark cherry is not. Ten years ago, when we would get asked to spray a color on cherry cabinets it would make us cringe, but the trend nowadays is to get rid of darkly stained wood and change it to a color that’s more warm and inviting. This couple had just closed on this house and wanted us in to spray our finish before moving in so we hastily changed some things around on the schedule and got in there. Normally we do jobs in 3 to 4 consecutive days, however since we just threw this job in it took us 5 days to refinish these cabinets. They chose a shade of gray that will go very well with their new backsplash and countertops that will be installed in the coming weeks. We think the difference made by spraying our colored urethane finish is significant!
