Everybody loves the beach, right? This customer loved the beach and the feeling she got whenever she stays at a beach house so much that she wanted to bring that beachy motif home to her own house. The townhouse was built about 5 years ago and when it was time to choose the cabinet color, she thought she would choose something different and went with a very dark stained maple. When she realized she hated how dark the cabinets were a few years later, she decided that what makes her feel most relaxed when she’s working from home is the beach. She painted her walls a light gray and we refinished her cabinets in two days with a creamy white that has been a very popular choice for us lately, Sherwin-Williams Dune White. I think the combination of the gray on the walls with the creamy white on the cabinets achieved the exact look and feel that she was hoping for, not to mention added some brightness to a space that does not get much natural light.
